The City of McLouth Fire Department and Union Township Fire Department have merged. The City of McLouth no longer has an independent Fire Department. We are covered by the Union Township-District 9 Fire Department. This will allow the fire department to receive more grant funds for new equipment.

You will no longer need a "paper" permit

What to do when you want to burn:

Call    785-403-0108

If you cannot burn, on that day, you will receive an automated response telling No Burning Allowed.

If you can burn, on that day, you will be connected with dispatch. They will collect your information and issue a burn permit.
